About me

I understand just what a big step it can be to find a counsellor and begin therapy. It is my role to make the step as comfortable as possible for you. I am a qualified counsellor trained in integrative counselling at University of the West of England.

I have counselled adults for a mental health charity, and have supported people experiencing drug & alcohol misuse problems for a drugs service. I have worked as a counsellor with young people at a service dedicated to under 25's, and within a secondary school setting. I have also worked with young care leavers and as a life skills tutor with young people.

I am creative by nature, so I am open to using creativity and art in our sessions if it feels right for you.

My work with clients has included issues such as:

- Abuse,

- Bereavement,

- Bullying,

- Children & young people (11 +),

- Depression & anxiety,

- Drug & alcohol issues,

- Gender identity,

- Health problems,

- Hearing voices,

- Identity issues,

- Low self-esteem and confidence issues,

- Rape & sexual abuse,

- Relationship & family problems,

- Self-harm.
